Our Story
Founded by Kevin Fowler, Northants Futsal was born from a simple idea: give young people in Northamptonshire a brilliant, inclusive place to fall in love with the game and grow their skills for life. In just 18 months we’ve grown from one pilot session to more than 100 active players across ten weekly programmes in Kettering — a community built on great coaching, kindness, and a passion for technical excellence.
Our Coaching Philosophy
We believe players learn best in enjoyable, purposeful sessions that blend ball-rich practice with plenty of decision-making. Our coaching is player-centred and underpinned by the England Futsal PRIDE DNA, focusing on positive behaviours, intelligent movement, 1v1 skill, quick combinations, transitions, and teamwork. Sessions are pitched to the child in front of us — stretching confident players while supporting those new to futsal.
We believe in giving players the freedom to learn, express themselves, and enjoy the journey. Our sessions are fun, focused, and built around the principles of the England Futsal PRIDE DNA:
